About Chiropractic

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession that is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of problems with muscles, joints, tendons, ligament and nerves. By helping the spine and other joints move evenly throughout the body we aim to reduce muscle tension, reduce strain on joints and ligaments and reduce pressure on nerves. This helps your body heal itself.

When it comes to chiropractic, my philosophy is simple. Each and every person is an individual. As a chiropractor, my aim is to not only help treat and manage your current symptoms, but also to find out any underlying reasons why those symptoms started in the first place so we can help prevent future problems.

Can I help you?

You're never too young or too old for chiropractic care, as the techniques I use will be adapted to suit your individual needs, including the very young,  the more mature and even pregnant ladies.

I am always happy to discuss whether chiropractic would be suitable for you. Often I use a variety of techniques, including soft tissue massage, manipulation and mobilisation, dry needling (Western acupuncture) and trigger point therapy, again adapted to suit the individual.
